- 2 cups fresh or frozen cherries, pitted and destemmed
- 2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries
- 1 medium banana
Greens
- 1 cup kale and baby spinach, packed (1/2 cup each)
Liquids and Dairy
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup to 1 cup water, as desired for thickness
Additional Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon flax seeds
- Honey, as desired for sweetness
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients: Wash fresh cherries, strawberries, kale, and baby spinach thoroughly. Pit and destem the cherries if using fresh. Peel the banana.
- Add ingredients to blender: Place cherries, strawberries, kale, spinach, banana, coconut milk, plain yogurt, flax seeds, and honey into the blender. Add 1/2 cup of water to start, adjusting later for desired consistency.
- Blend until smooth: Blend all ingredients on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, gradually add more water until your preferred thickness is achieved.
- Serve chilled: Pour the smoothie into glasses and enjoy immediately while cold and refreshing.
Notes
- Use frozen fruit to make the smoothie colder and thicker without adding ice.
- Adjust the amount of honey to suit your taste preference or omit for a less sweet version.
- You can substitute plain yogurt with Greek yogurt for extra protein.
