Ingredients
Scale
Slider Ingredients
- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 8 ounces sliced turkey
- 4 ounces bacon, cooked crispy (about 4–6 slices)
- 6 slices Colby Jack cheese (about 6 ounces)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 cups shredded curly lettuce
- 3 Roma tomatoes, cut into 12 slices
- ¼ red onion, sliced
Garlic Parmesan Glaze
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350˚F (175˚C) to prepare for baking the sliders evenly.
- Prepare Glaze: In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and parmesan cheese to create the flavorful garlic parmesan glaze.
- Assemble Slider Bottoms: Carefully slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place just the bottom halves into a baking dish, making sure they fit snugly.
- Add Fillings: Spread mayonnaise evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls. Lay slices of Colby Jack cheese on top, followed by the sliced turkey and crispy bacon.
- Top and Glaze: Place the top halves of the rolls back onto the fillings. Brush the prepared garlic parmesan glaze generously over the entire top surface of the sliders.
- Bake Sliders: Cover the baking dish tightly with foil to keep moisture in. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the sandwiches are heated through and the cheese has melted beautifully.
- Add Fresh Veggies: Remove the sliders from the oven and take off the tops carefully. Layer fresh tomato slices, red onion, and shredded lettuce onto the bottom halves.
- Serve: Replace the roll tops and serve the sliders warm. Enjoy these juicy, cheesy, and flavorful mini sandwiches immediately!
Notes
- You can substitute the Colby Jack cheese with cheddar or Monterey Jack for variation.
- Crispy bacon adds great texture — bake or pan fry bacon beforehand until crisp.
- For extra flavor, toast the Hawaiian rolls lightly before assembling.
- Make sure to cover the dish with foil while baking to prevent the sliders from drying out.
- These sliders can be made ahead and reheated wrapped in foil at 350˚F for 10-15 minutes.
