Instructions
- Melt Butter and Marshmallows: In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the miniature marshmallows and stir continuously until they are completely melted and smooth. Remove the pan from heat to prevent scorching.
- Add Cereal: Immediately add the Kellogg’s Rice Krispies holiday cereal to the melted marshmallow mixture. Stir gently but thoroughly until all the cereal is evenly coated with the marshmallow mix.
- Press Mixture and Cool: Using parchment paper for easy removal, evenly press the sticky mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Press firmly to ensure it holds together well. Allow it to cool completely.
- Cut Into Hearts: Once cooled and set, use the heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut the Rice Krispie treats into festive heart shapes. Serve and enjoy your holiday treats!
