Chicken Wings:
- 2 pounds chicken wings
Maple Glaze:
- 12 oz pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons granulated garlic
- 1 tablespoon coarse ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon ground rosemary
Instructions
- Make the Maple Glaze: Combine maple syrup with garlic, pepper, smoked paprika, salt, and rosemary in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Prepare the Grill: Heat a grill to 350°F using pecan or hickory wood for smoke.
- Cook the Wings: Thaw and pat dry the chicken wings. Cook over indirect heat on the grill with the lid closed for 20 minutes.
- Coat with Glaze: Pour 1 cup of maple glaze into a bowl. Remove wings from grill, coat with glaze, and return to grill.
- Finish Cooking: Continue to cook wings for 10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Serve: Remove from grill and serve hot or at room temperature.
