Liquid Ingredients

  • 250ml unsweetened almond milk (or milk of your choice)

Superfood Powders & Spices

  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tsp maca powder (optional)
  • Pinch ground cinnamon

Fruits

  • 1 Medjool date, stoned
  • 1 small ripe banana

Greens & Nut Butters

  • Handful cavolo nero or spinach

  5. Serve: Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately for optimal freshness and nutrient retention.

Notes

  • For best flavor and nutrient preservation, consume smoothie immediately after preparation.
  • If preparing in advance, store in a sealed jar in the fridge and add a squeeze of lemon or lime juice to prevent oxidation and browning.
  • Pre-portion fruit and greens in freezer bags to save time; blend frozen portions with liquid in the morning.
  • This recipe is flexible: swap spinach for kale or other leafy greens according to preference.
