- 2 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Garlic Honey Sauce:
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon seasoned rice vinegar
- 1/3 cup honey
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Fresh cracked pepper, to taste
- Thinly sliced green onion for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the Pan: Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large pan over medium to medium-high heat.
- Prepare Chicken: Slice chicken breast in half lengthwise to create 4 thinner pieces. Season with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour.
- Cook Chicken: Cook chicken in the pan until golden brown on each side and nearly cooked through. Set aside.
- Make Garlic Sauce: Melt remaining butter in the pan. Add sliced garlic and cook until fragrant. Add soy sauce, vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer Sauce: Simmer the sauce until slightly thickened. Add chicken back to the pan and cook until warmed through.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with green onions before serving.
