Description

This Easter Egg Pretzel Bark recipe combines the salty crunch of pretzels and peanuts with the sweetness of chocolate and Reese’s Pieces Pastel Eggs, creating a delightful treat perfect for the holiday season.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Bark:

  • 1 (11 oz) package peanut butter & milk chocolate chips
  • 1 (11 oz) package milk chocolate chips
  • 3 Tbsp solid vegetable shortening
  • 1 (7.2 oz) package original flat pretzel crisps
  • 1 cup cocktail peanuts
  • 1 (12 oz) package Reese’s Pieces Pastel Eggs
  • Easter sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare pan – Line a large baking sheet with wax paper. Set aside.
  2. Melt chocolate – Melt peanut butter and milk chocolate chips with shortening in a double boiler over simmering water. Stir periodically until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Add base ingredients – Spread the pretzel crisps evenly over the pan, overlapping is fine. Sprinkle peanuts over pretzel crisps.
  4. Pour chocolate – Pour the chocolate-peanut butter mixture over the pretzels and peanuts. Use the back of a spoon or an offset spatula to spread, covering the pretzels and peanuts completely.
  5. Add toppings – Nestle the Reese’s Pieces Pastel Eggs into the warm chocolate. Fill in with Easter sprinkles.
  6. Set and serve – Allow the pretzel bark to set up and harden, then break or cut into pieces.
