Chicken Thighs:

  • 1 1/2 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless

Spice Rub:

  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Other:

  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • 1/3 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 375F.
  2. Prepare the Chicken: Trim any excess fat from the chicken thighs.
  3. Season the Chicken: Combine the spices and rub them evenly on both sides of the chicken.
  4. Cook the Chicken: Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick spray. Arrange the chicken in a single layer in the basket and air fry for 7 minutes. Flip the chicken and cook for an additional 7 minutes.
  5. Glaze with BBQ Sauce: Brush half of the BBQ sauce on one side of the chicken, flip, and brush the remaining sauce on the other side. Air fry for another 2-3 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F.
